A new Miele scooped up

Surprisingly quietly, the Coyotes have recently signed a player considered the cream of the NCAA free agent crop last week - Greg Carey - a 23-year-old Hobey Baker hopeful from St. Lawrence University.
St. Lawrence coach Greg Carvel (former assistant with the Ducks and Senators) told The Hockey News, "He's a player that I don't want to say is one-dimensional, but he has a dimension that is superior and that is his ability to score goals. I've seen that level. He can shoot and score at the NHL level for sure."
Apparently his younger brother Matt is as good and the two think about playing together when possible.
Andy Miele hasn't become the player many of us hoped he would become - but he is still the best offensive player on the Pirates. He doesn't get the top six minutes when he gets called up but has shown decent defensive acumen when in the NHL.
Here's hoping young mister Carey can be at least as good as Miele. Better yet, here's hoping he explodes onto the scene next year and makes the dogs out of camp, providing them with a ready offensive talent (as he's 23). Any rate, good job signing this kid GMDM.
