Season series
: Jared McCann,Alexandre Burrows and Brendan Gaunce scored first-period goals to help the Vancouver Canucks to a 4-3 win against the Arizona Coyotes at Gila River Arena on Oct. 30. Richard Bachman made 29 saves for the Canucks.

Coyotes team scope
: Arizona continues its three-game Western Canada trip that opened with a 4-3 shootout loss at the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday. Coyotes defenseman Zbynek Michalek (upper body) is day-to-day after being injured Saturday; he did not practice in Vancouver on Sunday. Centers Boyd Gordon and Martin Hanzal did practice and could play against the Canucks. Goalie Louis Domingue will start. "I'm happy with my game right now," Domingue told the Coyotes website. "I'm doing my job. I think everybody is doing their job. That's why we're getting points right now."

Canucks team scope
: It's the fourth of a seven-game homestand for Vancouver, which is 2-1-0 thus far. Forward Brandon Prust is questionable because of a leg injury sustained during a 2-1 shootout win against the Anaheim Ducks on Friday. If Prust is unable to play, McCann would likely take his place. Vancouver will be without goalie Ryan Miller (lower body), who is expected to skate later this week, forwards Sven Baertschi (neck) and Brandon Sutter (sports hernia surgery), and defensemen Dam Hamhuis (facial surgery) and Luca Sbisa (hand). Goalie Jacob Markstrom, who has won three of his past four games, is expected to start.
