GM Short Pants dumpster dives again

Postby Robert Earthpig on Mon Jan 02, 2017 1:07 pm

General Manager Short Pants is dumpster diving again. The Coyotes have claimed Alex Burmistrov off waivers from the Jets. A skilled player who often does too much and gives the puck away, Burmistrov could use a change of scenery. If given the chance with skilled players, he might be a 30 point-a-year player. So he's a third liner at best now; not great for a former eighth overall selection.
Here's hoping he catches lightning in a bottle and bursts out of his shell. He played well in Russia / KHL before returning to the Jets.

Do you think Burmistrov is a coach Tippett kind of player?
