Actually, if I remember correctly, we had one of those a few years back, but it wasn't used enough to warrant the size of the application (or something). Of course that could be some sort of strange imagined memory on my part.

I poked around a bit this morning for a chat phpbb3 mod, but nothing stood out. I'll look some more...

Just to clarify... cc.net did have a chat room at one time. It was used very little and, iirc, during one of the board software updates/upgrades it was dropped.

The Coyotes news site was part of the initial concept of the cc.net. It included the roster, injuries, game day previews, etc. The founder and some early members used to write content for this section but it did not last too long and eventually the area was completely outdated. After years of inactivity it was removed entirely and the cc.net became a messageboard only.

Yea, the interesting thing about the 'chat' function back then (which I never used), was that it was only available on specific board themes. So some people had no idea there was a chat function back then.

sounds complicated, just a thought thats all, just seems we are all very active on road games, and thinking back, nowadays I imagine the users here have better connections etc then back then
