I was just giving you a hard time - there's no geographical prerequisite to be a fan! It's just a bit disappointing seeing all the out of state - out of country fans when there seem to be so few fans in Phoenix proper. The team needs to send a big bus around the world, round you all up, and force each of you to buy season tickets. If that happened, perhaps the Coyotes wouldn't be a 'small market' team in a 'niche' sport (read: mostly ignored) in the country's 7th largest city (Phoenix, not Glendale).

BTW - Go BOILERS. Buckeyes?

It should not be that unusual in Arizona.. but it is.. I feel so alone at Dead Things games I almost feel like going in a Dead Things jersey to blend in!

I know what you mean. Those DET games are often on the WB, so I just stay home and watch those games. :?

Born and raised here also. I didn't catch last nights Dallas game, tuned into the channel 15 news before hitting the sack and they didn't even mention the game but the had stupid coverage and interviews on the retarded preseason baseball games. Yuk.

Hey - some of us actually like baseball AND hockey. Imagine that! :D FWIW, the game would have gotten short shrift regardless of those retarded baseball games. I hate it too. A convincing win in a return to hockey after a layoff should get at least a mention. I've found the big four networks say little to nothing about hockey. Have to stick to FoxSportsAZ. Sometimes they even let us know how other teams in the league have done!
