PORTLAND – The puck hasn’t even fallen on the Portland Pirates 2013-2014 season and there has already been a series of transactions that will have an impact on the roster of the Phoenix Coyotes’ AHL affiliate.

Coach Tip wants the older guys who are happy to be small minute nibblers in the bigs. Brown and Lessio need to gain more confidence and learn the speed of the game more. Playing in Portland will help them do that.
Yip and Kennedy know this is their careers in the balance and will play hard and hopefully smart.
